Doctor's behavior based on my experience as Medical Representative
Good day Guys, so this is based on my own experience and opinion and we should always look at how doctors behave to medical representative, so basically the perspective is when they see sales people, and not patients.
So this is of course will not about how they judge sales people but I just want to point out how doctor's response/behave and react to someone who is pursuing them.
Medical Representative are known to be a sales people as well and that means we persuade, build relationship and this is through consistent visiting them and how well you treat them, of course all people may it be a doctor or other professional may vary their behavior according how well they be treated.
I will list good qualities of doctors that I have experience with them working as MedRep.
Number 1
Doctor's are very observant, as you speak as my experience for almost four year working as Medrep, these are the things I've also observe to them. They tend to observe you, how you speak, how you look, how you well you behave on them.
Number 2
Since they are observant, they are also a good listener, many of them are good listener, that means they let you talk and finish your speech before they talk, that is why these two qualities of them are always a package, they tend to observe often time and that means they listen well.
Number 3
Most of them are not judgemental,
This of course will depend on the person, and that I listed this because I somehow think most of them are not judgmental, that is also why I wrote from my other article that looks are not important in sales industry I dare say in Pharmaceutical as well, but of course in so many way having a good look is advantage but if that will be the basis of getting quality of the sales person, I don't think selling will be exciting.
This may seem contradicting to what I've wrote in number 2 but as they observe you how you look, how you speak and how you behave is different from judging a person.
Number 4
They are open minded they tend to observe and listen that is why they are open minded, you may see them having a very wide knowledge, studied more than 10 years, but as you know them they are actually open minded, that means they take the opportunity to learn from you.
