Good things lockdown has done to the Philippines people must know

These are the things you might want to appreciate during lockdown, so before listing them one by one I want to show you guys the graph of covid-19 in the Philippines since we lifted the lockdown from ECQ to GCQ meaning there a many establishments have been allowed by the Government to operate, that I would say it has done good when it comes to our economy since we are already in drought.

This things are not to contradict the government's decision to lift lockdown from ECQ to GCQ, what I want to show you are the things that lock down has done to the Philippines since March 16, 2020 when Pres. Duterte officially announced the total lock down.

This is the graph of the Philippines Covid-19 stats.

Photo taken form snipping tool- where you can see the graph is increasing gradually since the start of GCQ on May, 15, 2020.

This is just to show you that lock down in our provinces that government implement has a positive impact on how we can lessen the spread of the virus.

And now what I am gonna show is far from the topic of Covid-19, but these are the things I just want to share may have a great positive impact in our society and daily living of the people in our country.

1. ROAD ACCIDENT/VEHICULAR ACCIDENT

I hope you guys would agree with me that crime in the Philippines in months of lock down will gradually go down, since we are in curfew, with this people are obliged to go home early, cannot even go to bar and be drunk and then drive who actually are the one that causes accident.

They may differ in time depending to the cities but I bet it would not be beyond 8 pm, in our case 7 pm is in total lockdown and people who are outside will get penalized and could be in jail.

I tried to look at if PSA(Philippiines Statistic Authority) haas data on how lock down lessen the accidents, unfortunately there is none yet, so I would show you data of number of accidents happening in the Philippines.

See this data from internation website, where we can see how huge number of deaths happened in road accidents.
10,787 death in year 2017 that is how huge number deaths took place in 2017, imagine how many families mourn in these accidents.

So guys even I do not have any data on how lock down lessen this accident, I would bet it lessen it greatly.

2. Crime

I would also bet this is one that greatly affects our numbers of crime committed in just 2 months of lock down.
I will show you the CNN Philippines where there is a report in just 1 month on how crime cases dropped.

This is CNN news in Aprill 11, where we got data from reliable source. The PNP itself reports to the CNN Phlippines that there is 55 percent drop of crime in NCR, from 3509 to 1,562 cases, which is very huge, that how lock down does in these past few months, and we cannot even see if there are committed kills in there, but anyway I will show you PSA data that table shown number of crimes and deliquency in our country.

This is from PSA data where it is posted in their website  that I will link below.

https://psa.gov.ph/sites/default/files/PIF2019_revised

That is how many crimes committed, in 2017 thousand of cases homicide and murder happen in our country.

3. Drug Selling

You all know that our government has been very vocal on their war on drug, and that administration of Pres. Duterter has been well known to efficient in their fight against drug lords however they still cannot eradicate it.

This one is I think we should appreciate during lockdown since drug are related to many crimes and accidents in the Philippines, and they are happening mostly in evening, transaction are happening in places that hidden.

This one I would say that most people with agree with me, take a look on how drug-related cases has took people's lives and ruined a family in our society.

This is taken from pnp website:  http://pnp.gov.ph/images/News/rn_0117

That is how many incidents with drug happen in two years, they have took a lot of lives.

That is all for my sharing.

Thank you so much for reading this article.
